Delaware National Bank’s parent company, Fulton Financial Corporation, named to list of “100 Most Trustworthy Companies” by Forbes
(May 10, 2010) – Lancaster, PA – Delaware National Bank has announced that its parent company, Fulton Financial Corporation, has been included in a very exclusive list: the Corporation has been named one of the nation’s “100 Most Trustworthy Companies” by Forbes.
The article notes that Forbes “wanted to identify the most transparent and trustworthy businesses that trade on American exchanges, so Forbes turned to Audit Integrity, an independent financial analytics company in Los Angeles.”
In addition, the article states that “Audit Integrity finds that its 100 Most Trustworthy Companies have consistently demonstrated transparent and conservative accounting practices and solid corporate governance and management. They do not play games with revenue and expense recognition or with asset valuation.”
The article quotes Jack Zwingli, CEO of Audit Integrity, saying, “These are the good guys. They've consistently shown accuracy and transparency in their financial reporting.”
Audit Integrity reviewed 8,000 publicly held companies to compile the list. Fulton Financial is the only bank included in the Large-Cap and Mid-Cap company lists, and is one of only four banks on the entire list of 100 companies.
“Delaware National Bank employees value the relationships we have with our customers and gaining their trust is our number one priority,” said Randy Taylor, president and CEO of Delaware National Bank. “We are very proud to be part of a company that is viewed so positively by an internationally recognized organization such as Forbes.”
